Haunte Couture

Best. Time. Ever! Mint Julep Social Events coordinated a sassy fashion show competition for the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and it was amazing. The concept is genius: 12 interior design and architectural firms were split into teams and given the task of creating fierce and showy fashion pieces out of upholstery fabric and furniture materials. Not only that, but they had to correlate the pieces to this year's theme: Route 66. Each team was assigned a town on the famous route and had to incorporate that into the design. The results were anything but boring! Of course, the theme came to fruition because of our lovely venue, The Petersen Automotive Museum. The competitive nature of the teams and the showstopping fashion made this event one not to be missed. Thanks to Sean Azul who did a super job at capturing the photos for the event and Shammy Dee kept the beats for the model swagger.
